  • 8 cups of flour

  • 2 teaspoons of salt and 2 eggs.
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.

For the filling

  • 1 jar of cream cheese.
  • ¼ cup of sugar.
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
  • ¼ cup of strawberry jam.

For the frosting

  • 1 cup of sugar.
  • 2 tablespoons of milk.
  • ¼ teaspoon of vanilla essence.

Preparation of the strawberry danish cheesecake

To finish, assemble the dough by putting a layer of the first dough and another of the second dough. With the other two doughs you can make another Danish cake. Fold the rectangle in three parts, as if it were an envelope. Wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

So, mix the cream cheese at room temperature with the sugar and vanilla extract, until everything is well combined. Beat the egg and 1 tablespoon of water using a fork. After that, make diagonal cuts through the dough with a knife, along the sides of the filling. Next, fold the strips over the filling, alternating sides, like making a braid. Seal the ends with water and, finally, place in the oven mold and cook for about 30 minutes.

Then, while the Danish cake is cooking, make the frosting. Thus, beat all the ingredients with rods. When the cheesecake danish is ready, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes, spread the previous glaze as if they were strips. Serve still warm.
