Cucumber salads option 1

What do you need?

  • 3 large cucumbers (approximately 600 grams)
  • ¼ cup onion juice
  • 1 and ½ teaspoons of salt
  • A pinch of ground white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 4 tablespoons sour cream

Steps to follow:

  • 1-First, peel the cucumbers, remove the seeds or pips and cut into slices.
  • 2-Place in a colander and add salt on top, to drain well.
  • 3-Then, with a food grinder, prepare the onion juice.
  • 4-Make the vinaigrette by beating the previous juice with the sugar, salt, vinegar and pepper.
  • 5-Pour the cucumbers into a container and pour the sour cream on top.
  • 6-Next, put it in the fridge for half an hour.
  • 7-Then c uela cucumbers (will again throw water).
  • 8-Finally, mix with the cold sour cream and serve immediately.

Option 2 cucumber salads

The ingredients in this second cucumber salad recipe are more than refreshing. Feel free to make them for a picnic lunch or a quick, easy and very summery dinner.

Precise:

  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup of plain yogurt
  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Ground cumin to taste

How do you prepare?

  • 1-First, peel the cucumber, remove the seeds and cut into not very thin slices.
  • 2-Place in a strainer with salt to release all the water (about 15 or 20 minutes).
  • 3-Meanwhile, chop the coriander and parsley (it can be done by hand or with a food processor).
  • 4-Next, mix both with the sour cream and the yogurt, salt and season with the cumin.
  • 5-After, pour the cucumbers to the previous preparation, stir well.

  • ½ kg of cucumber
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¾ teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh dill
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar to white wine

Recipe instructions:

  • 1-First, peel the cucumbers and remove the seeds, cut into slices and sprinkle the salt.
  • 2-Place in a colander for half an hour to release the water.
  • 3-After that time, place each slice of cucumber on absorbent paper and dry well (press between two papers so that there is no more liquid, being careful not to break them).
  • 4-Then, chop the fresh dill well (if you can’t get it, it can be dry) and combine with the sour cream, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 5- Add the cucumbers and stir to integrate them.
  • 6-You can serve immediately or store in the fridge until everyone sits down at the table. Ideal to combine with grilled or roasted meats.

    Option 4 cucumber salads

    What do you need?

    • 1 cucumber
    • Salt, pepper and paprika to taste
    • 125 grams of natural yogurt
    • 1 tablespoon sour cream or cream
    • One garlic clove
    • 1 tablespoon fresh dill
    • A tablespoon of wine vinegar

    How to prepare?

    • 1-First, wash, peel and slice the cucumber, salt and let it rest for 10 minutes.
    • 2-Second, drain the cucumbers well.
    • 3-Next, mince the garlic and dill.
    • 4- Mix both with the yogurt, vinegar and salt and pepper.
    • 5-After, place the cucumbers and mix well.
